Hello everyone. For those of you who do not know me, I am Joanna Zammiello. I live in Poughkeepsie, NY about 10 minutes away from the Marist main campus. We moved here when I was 9 and I have been living in the Hudson Valley ever since. However, I lived in Spartanburg, SC for three years while my husband attended Chiropractic College, and besides NY this was the only other state I lived in.

Liam & Lilly |
I am 41 years old, have been with my husband for 21 years and have been married 11 of those years and we have twins, furry cat twins that is; Liam & Lilly.
For the last 10 years I have been employed as a Service Advisor at BMW of the Hudson Valley. Prior to this position I have been employed as an Aquatic and Program Director; Insurance Agent; Program Coordinator; Rental Car Branch Manager and Bank Sales Coordinator. In addition to my full time job, I am an independent distributer for Premier Designs Jewelry.
I started my educational journey later then I would have liked and in May 2012 graduated from the OLC Program at Marist and am a member Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda. My journey at Marist in the OLC Program started as self-fulfillment, but as each class concluded, self-fulfillment transformed into an overwhelming eagerness to learn and to challenge myself as a person. Being a Marist student and part of a cohort learning program style has taught me: responsibility, patience and most importantly how to manage group dynamics, which is essential to real life situations.
My undergraduate experience at Marist was more then I could have ever imagined and when I was introduced the IMC program I know it would encompasses my Marist degree perfectly allowing me to incorporate the concentration I held in Art.
A few personal facts about me, my husband and I are vegetarians are I enjoy any outdoor activity from camping to hiking to kayaking to quad riding (yes, I have my own and I have to say it is pretty nice, I do want to learn to ride a dirt bike). I also enjoy shopping (who does not love a bargain, Target all the way!!) and having “spa” days with my girlfriends. Not only do I love to cook but my passion is baking. I would love to have my own bakery, named Sweet Lilly’s specializing in cupcakes and gourmet brownies.
few weeks as well as getting to know everyone else.
Not sure who else will be Graduating in May, but we are almost there!! :)
